About Josprel
Josprel resides in Western New York - just across the Niagara River from Canada. He served three years in the United States Air Force, two and one half years on overseas duty, as a sergeant of engineers. He afterward completed college under the G.I. Bill of Rights. Many of Josprel's stories and articles appear in print and on the Web. He is authoring two novels, "Beloved Apostate" and "Kanfal."

    There were occasions during his long years of combat in W.W. II that the young American G.I. thought he never would return home. Yet, there was that constant presence, warning him of dangers in a voice that only he could hear. At first, he thought he may have suffered shellshock or some other form of battle aberration, due to his many months of unalleviated combat. He therefore attempted to ignore the voice; but it persisted, demanding instant obedience from the infantryman. He finally yielded to the demands of the presence, resulting in the saving of his buddies’ lives at least once, and the saving of his own some three times.     A Superlative Forgiveness - by Josprel

    Several years ago in an American city, a gang of skinheads beat to death a teenaged foreign exchange student from an Eastern country. The parents came to claim their son’s body. As they left the plane, reporters mobbed them. “You must hate the ones who murdered your son,” one commented. No, we are Christians; we forgive them,” the mother replied.
