JR Riddle is a Partner at Urban One, a boutique Los Angeles based, full-service Project Management (Owner's Representation) firm specializing in complex urban development projects for public and private clients, focused in the arenas of Real Estate, Infrastructure, and Transit.
Whether large or small, our belief is in enabling real estate, infrastructure, and transit projects that create lasting communities. Through years of successful development work we have established a reputation as problem solvers for projects that are complex, controversial or involve numerous, often competing interests.
The services we provide include, but are not limited to, Development Management, Construction Management, and Investment Management. Urban One is also actively looking at development deals in house that we feel will be successful in this current market.
Prior to joining Urban One, JR Riddle previously worked with The Clarett Group, The Kor Group, and Hathaway Dinwiddie Construction Company. He holds a B.S. in Civil Engineering BUilding Science and and M.S. in Construction Engineering & Management, both from the University of Southern California. He is also a LEED Accredited Professional.
Recent Activity
Over the last decade, there has been an unprecedented push toward sustainable construction. Pursuing LEED or not, one should always consider a Construction Waste Management Plan and recycle construction and demolition waste if the opportunity presents itself. Redirecting recyclable recovered resources back to the manufacturing process and redirecting reusable materials to appropriate sites helps reduce the carbon footprint of a project and maximize recycling efforts. Reduce, recycle, and reuse
The Owner's Representative is an often overlooked asset that can be included in any real estate development project undertaking. The Owner's Rep bridges the gap between ownership and all other entities involved with the project. A true Owner's Rep is well versed in development, design, and construction. More often than not, an Owner's Rep has a background in development themselves, so they know what it takes to pull off a successful development project and maximize their client's IRR.
