Florida Power and Light (FPL) refuses to improve and continues to seek the easy way to profits. Its focus is maintaining the current business model, which falls short to the needs of the people, country and the Planet. A call for improvement could be the wisest course of action in dealing with FPL. The Florida Public Service Commission (PSC) should prompt FPL to switch to bio-fuels, use local resources for fuel supplies, develop solar technology, and promote home power generation technology
The sustainable development efforts of Halmahera, are leading efforts towards the establishment, production and utilization of clean and renewable energy. In spite of UN millennium development goal and Dr. Muhammad Yunus' Micro financing, Poverty will not be solved. We need to change the Power Generation systems to lower entry cost for poor countries. The perfect car is an electrical vehicle that can replenish its own energy while in motion (non-stop), has zero gas emissions, seats 5 people, has no fuel cost, and would cost between 20,000 to 40,000 USD depending on its features. Such a car, should be less complicated to built than our current combustion engine cars that have more than 7,000 parts.
