If we are passionate about what we believe, it is very difficult to allow that same freedom of passion to others who do not share our values. It is important, however, in a free country and a hopefully free world that all of us allow a muliplicity of ideas to florish without recourse to violence, so that we can ensure for ourselves and those we love a more stable and peaceful world.
There are really two minds that are acting for us. The one that makes a decision and the one that acts on that decision. Without discipline and control these two separate entities are not always able to work together. It is important for our happiness that we learn how to help these two diverse minds to work compatably together.
Though the ages many people have searched for the "truth" - in medical, political and religious spheres. Many of these "truths" have contradicted each other, and have later been amended. The only reliable truths in which we can all ultimately believe are those truths that can be proven beyond any doubt.

There are no easy solutions to the complexities either of human relationships or of the managing of our fragile planet. When we begin to understand this, we can then also begin to comprehend that we must all become partners in the solving of these many and difficult challenges.
When our lives become too hectic, it is wise to stop to gather our strength and re-evaluate the present, so that perhaps we can begin to feel more positive about the future.
