She owned and operated a gymnastics club in NY for 10 years. Karen worked for the most famous gymnastics coach, Bela Karolyi for 7 summers and was his first female camp director. She also worked at International Gymnastics Camp for a decade of holiday clinics. Karen attended many USA Gymnastics events such as Regional Congress, compulsory and optional clinics, and the National TOPS Training Camp. Before Karen earned a BA Degree her education included training in physical therapy, nutrition, and health sciences.
