Yesterday's "Ask Kim" featured some good info for people who are wondering whether they can deduct student loan payments and/or interest come tax time.
To start: student loan payments are not tax deductible, but interest is. There's a catch though if you want to take the full deduction--you must earn $55,000 or less if you are single and $110,000 or less if you are married and filing jointly. There is also a limit
