Tens of flights have been cancelled this weekend due to the interesting weather conditions that we are experiencing in the UK.

At this time of year when the leaves begin to turn and the weather gets colder, a lot of Brits make the trip to warmer climes. And Thailand is one of those places, with the idea of sandy beaches and warm waters being a lot more appealing that the rain and wind of the UK.

With the cold and wet winters, it is a good idea to make sure that if you are decorating your home, you are using bold and bright colours. Make sure that if you have a small room that you are not choosing colours that are too bright, as they will impose the room and cause it to appear smaller.

In the UK we are used to two different types of air fares; the budget, low cost ones we see to local places in Europe, and the pricier ones that we are forced to pay should we want to go somewhere further afield like Barbados, America or Australia

With winter fast approaching and the chill in the air in the mornings and evenings, it's time to start considering how we will save money on our heating bills. Have you considered double glazing? It is now something that is a deal breaker for me; if I move into rented accommodation I will simply not sign up for a house that is only single glazed, as it reduced the heating bills by such a great deal
