Boasting some of the sunniest beaches and streets in all of Turkey, the coastal settlement of Kemer is among the country's best tourist spots. Each year, many thousands of tourists make the journey into Kemer's downtown area.

The popular Turkish beachside resort of Marmaris is given over to year round tourism, attracting several hundreds of thousands of visitors from northern climes to its beaches, nightclubs and Marmaris city centre hotels on a regular basis. The port town was developed as a resort in the 1980s, and is a special favourite of package tourists from the UK.

Jerusalem, known worldwide as the Holy City, has been a centre of pilgrimage for well over a thousand years for its seminal position in three of the planet's five major religions. The tiny Old City, just one kilometre square, is the holy of holies for Judaism and Christianity and the third holiest site in Islam.

The capital city of Wales; Cardiff, is among the United Kingdom's most loved major settlements. This beautiful Welsh city has not always been the most desirable place to visit. However, recent trends in culture and development have seen the image of Cardiff skyrocket past some of the most well-known United Kingdom cities around.

A famous visitor destination for its baroque architecture, huge range of palaces, glorious churches, many museums and striking monuments as well as a pilgrimage destination for the mysterious Shroud, the city of Turin breathes its long history in every street, square and imposing heritage building.

Many visitors to Spain travel there not just for the country's great climate and welcoming hospitality, but also to enjoy the local food and wines. Spain's cuisine is famous around the world for offering some fantastic regional specialties while the country's wines rank up there with anything produced in France, Italy or Germany.

Rotterdam is the second largest city in the Netherlands, behind the capital, Amsterdam. It is a low-level town, sitting on the edge of the coast. The city is part of the Ranstad region, in South-Holland, and contains a population of about 600,000 people in the central city area.
