LINDA PREJEAN
Twenty years of working with women and men in transitional life stages has honed Linda’s ability to recognize the stuck stages in life and nurture new beginnings. Her unique combination of spiritual wisdom and her training in the field of Psychotherapy helps her break down barriers that hold women back in order to step boldly into a new life.
Linda’s experience working with depression and grief, trauma and anxiety have resulted in the development of a unique technique of emotional and cognitive release techniques that combine the power behind forgiveness with the attractive force that can make our dreams come true. A past partner in a Career Consulting firm, Linda was instrumental in assisting women seeking career change to follow their heart’s desires and tap into artistic resources.
Linda earned a Masters Degree in Counseling Psychology with postgraduate work in Life Coaching at the California Institute for Human Sciences in Encinitas, and worked as a mental health counselor at Mira Costa College in San Diego as well as other clinical facilities before going into private practice. Linda’s group therapy sessions she termed, “Voice Lessons,” encouraged women to find safe ways to speak out and release the tension behind their repressed, hidden dreams and desires and eliminate the sense of hopelessness and low self-worth that can contribute to depression.
Linda completed a writing program at UCLA and is co-producer with several concepts for television. In addition to her website, www.mysecretdreamslifecoaching.com, she is writing a book, aptly titled: My Secret Dreams, Unleashing the Power Behind Fear.
