Three Secrets you Need to Know About the Monkey Mind

The term “monkey mind” was originally coined by Zen Buddhist monks to describe the condition of your mind racing from one thought to the next, creating mental churn that saps you of vital life force energy. We here in the Western world experience it as that which keeps us in busywork mentality, feeling overwhelmed, susceptible to taking on too much and having really long, sleepless nights. C Stands for Being Different

By Webster’s Dictionary definition, a catalyst is something that provokes significant action. That’s what I do – I provoke my clients to think and act differently in their lives for greater fulfillment. After all, we have to do different to get different. It is my intention that you find something thought provoking enough to do something different in your own life. Read: C Stands for Being Different Read

    The Hunch Factor

In working with my clients to create personal success from the inside out, I have seen time and time again that their “hunch” factor is very much alive and talking to them about what they need. But they either don’t recognize it, or can’t quite get the message (usually because we humans like to complicate things in our linear minds), or don’t believe that it’s a valuable tool that is actually serving them to have their best life. De-mystifying Clarity

To have clarity in one’s life means having a sense of ease, of knowing that all is handled and in its place, the certainty of being able to easily access what comes next, the comfort of feeling like there’s “enough” (energy, time, resources, etc.) to live a happy life. Clarity is organization, both physically and emotionally; it is that which allows us to move forward in our lives easily and effortlessly. When we have blinding moments of clarity, we have the answers we were searching for and can take the best action to get us to where we finally know we want to go. Clarity allows us to understand ourselves and our relationship to our world (which is really everything we are creating). The power to create is our clarity. Clarity is our creation in motion. Your Big Leap

Big change takes big leaps, and big leaps usually happen all at once. I’m talking about the really big leaps – the shift in your head, the commitment in your body, the knowingness that comes from that deep, inner place. It’s possible to have a series of smaller jumps that pull you just outside your comfort zone, but that’s not technically a leap. I forget where I heard it, but someone said “you can’t cross a chasm in two jumps”. See the difference between a leap and a jump? Read: Your Big Leap Read

    Finding your Stillpoint

What’s a stillpoint you ask? A stillpoint is the place where movement ceases and everything becomes clear as a result. Think of a rollercoaster – the kind that loops around first one way, then backwards through the loop, getting ever higher in its circle until the cars are at the top of the circle, hanging upside down – just hanging. THAT is a stillpoint. The object in motion has come to rest, balancing on its’ stillpoint. The same can be true for us even in the midst of our lives. Read: Finding your Stillpoint Read
