It was Florida’s spring game and it was time to see what Chris Rainey could do. Could he live up to the hype? The answer was a resounding “YES!” He made one mistake by not starting the 40 yard dash because he was confused, but that was the first and last mistake Rainey made. Basketball season ground to a difficult halt for the Florida Gators several weeks ago, but considering the fact that the team lost their experienced players at the end of last season, the young, inexperienced current team fought the best it could as far as the NIT finals.
