But what if it was fun? What if some of the more interesting, exotic fruits were brought to children\\\'s attention and they could see how to make them a delicious part of their diets, and learn more about different cultures at the same time? That’s just what Healthy HelpersTM does. Through a range of books, educational play toys and classroom resources these unique, endearing characters help children aged 3-10 recognise some of the more exotic fruits that are readily available on the supermarket shelves but that no one really knows enough about. The vibrant, fully illustrated books inspire discussion and interaction whilst the malleable toys add a touch-and-feel dimension to the lesson. Each book is introduced by a colourful exotic character and features tasty recipe ideas to show children that eating fruit can be fun. The useful Classroom Resources include lesson plans, word searches; crosswords and worksheets that can be used in subjects such as English, science, maths, art, geography, history and PSHE. Healthy Helpers is an award-winning product designed in consultation with teachers and other experts working with children and the seven Education Packs have already been accepted into a number of schools, nurseries and bookshops.
