Which One Online Dating Service Is Really Works?I am happy to tell you mode detail about the results of my matchmaking activity: one friend of mine, a wonderful Ukrainian woman, is married to a British man; my best friend, a woman from Ukraine, is now married to an American man; another friend of mine, a gorgeous Ukrainian woman (she was my bridesmaid), is married to an American man; and myself, I am married to a Canadian man. Looking For Slavic Girls: Two Men's FearsIt is not always women that do the scamming; sometimes a dishonest man will create profiles of Slavic girls and will put pictures of beautiful Ukrainian or Russian models, actresses or singers to the profiles. He also writes letters to the men like from a real girl. Those letters are full of “sincere feeling” and, of course, money asking, so western men who get this letter, have no idea that their “girls” do not exist at all. Kisses at Ukrainian WeddingBride and groom are the only ones asked to kiss at West European or North American weddings. At a Ukrainian wedding not only the newlyweds are kissing, but each groomsman is suppose to kiss his bridesmaid. What Bridesmaids and Best Men are Suppose to Do at Ukrainian Wedding? The bridesmaids and groomsmen at a wedding in Ukraine need to be single and never married before. This is Ukrainian tradition. Please do not ask me questions why, I really never thought about it. I was just a participant of all those traditions because I grew up in Western Ukraine. Ukraine: Korovay Instead of Wedding CakeOk, let the wedding begin! Before going to the Church for the ceremony, parents, grandparents and Godparents bless the bride and groom with the korovays. Then Starosta (he is usually the boss at Ukrainian wedding) carries the korovay (or both korovays) to the Church. The wedding bread is to be in the Church during all of the ceremony, and then Starosta brings the korovay to the wedding reception. There will be a special custom with korovay (korovays) at the end of the wedding. The Pumpkin Does not Mean Halloween in Ukraine - it Means Shame for MenUkrainian tradition to give a pumpkin to the loser guys is almost gone in today's times. So if a modern Ukrainian boy proposes marriage to a girl, he usually buys her a ring as is done in the rest of the world. But the saying "to get a pumpkin" is still very popular in Ukraine. This phrase usually means that somebody has said "no" to you in a very important business matter. Incredible Ukrainian HospitalityWedding is a quintessence of Ukrainian hospitality! Who ever was at least one time at a Ukrainian wedding, will understand what I am talking about. Ukrainians have sayings "A table bends from a meal" and "No place to put new dishes on the table". This means that the reception is just perfect. Devotion of the Ukrainian WomanWe have a real Ukrainian family, with real Ukrainian customs and traditions in relations and everyday life. And when I am cooking, I really save the best pieces of the meal for my husband. It is because of my Ukrainian blood. And it is because several generations of my family taught their daughters to do it. And because I just love my husband. Such simple reasons to care about a person and to be devoted to!
