I have founded a worldwide operating business 18 years ago and still actively provide technology guidance as chief architect. For those who read my first book \\\\\\\'Deity\\\\\\\' it will not be surprised that my business also develops artificial intelligence software. I have written and self-published two books, \\\\\\\'The Deity (2003)\\\\\\\', rereleased as\\\\\\\'Deity\\\\\\\' in 2006, and \\\\\\\'Journey To Eden\\\\\\\'\\\\\\\' and I am writing two more at the time. Interests My main hobbies have been for many years my family and the business that I have built. Lately - call it a midlife crisis if you will - I have focused more on sports (hindered by a recent accident). Before that diving, skiing, motorcycling and boating have been my most frequent activities. My personal interests are history, politics, quantum physics and having discussions about both. Now I am back into music, video, photography and above all writing.

2D flowcharts diagrams are two dimensions away from showing a plausible model of reality. Therefore swimlane perspectives – when done right – can show the third dimension of organizational build and they show the fourth dimension in a timeline. And yes, I see swimlanes as very helpful as to which elements of an end-to-end process are performed by which process owning team.
I already posted about the powerful clustering and caching algorithms of the Papyrus Platform some time back. It was now interesting to read about combining NoSQL and Elastic Caching. The Papyrus Platform uses both the same concepts on the lowest layer to support the metadata repository, rule engine, and the distributed, object-relational database and transaction engine.
Recently, ISIS Papyrus Software has decided to join OASIS – the Organization for the Advancement of Structured Information Standards as a Foundational Member.
We are very excited to announce the availability of the ISIS Papyrus WebArchive Client for iPhone on the Apple Appstore through using its Papyus EYE Mobile technology. It enables mobile access to documents stored on a remote Papyrus WebArchive.
Vendors position their solutions as such: agile, dynamic (aka flexible), and ad-hoc (often also called human). I started to use the term "adaptive" for process requirements a few years ago. It has been used before but as a substitute for agile. A recent arrival is Social BPM. What does it all mean?
Many current implementations of process and case management solutions are at odds with modern management concepts. While that applies to all workers, it is especially relevant for highly skilled knowledge workers.
If government monetary actions are maxed out (i.e. a near 0% base rate) or further taxation could have dire political consequences, what is it that a government could do beyond accepting the drawbacks of deficit spending? It is really not that hard! Governments can CHANGE REGULATION!
Hm, are these in any way special times? I certainly don’t think so. They are only special to those folks who don’t understand business cycles and thought that the market bubble would expand forever. Those are the managers that went on spending sprees when times were good and now have throttle back by whatever means to make the business survive. Certainly such managers don’t earn the that title.
While Ethiopia is thought to be the genetic cradle of modern man, Egypt – just down the Nile river – is quite obviously the cradle of civilization. Hieroglyphs were called ‘mdjuh ndjer’ – the ‘Words of the Gods’ – quite obviously invented by its priests to tally the taxes, plan the grand temple projects and – why not – document the achievements of pharaohs and the virtues of the Gods.
Could the substantial overhead in using sticky-load-balancing, transaction-safe Java caching and database clustering, plus the substantial overhead for parsing and validating the XML data for SOA not be avoided?
