Ever since Microsoft XBOX 360 and the Sony PS3 were released we have been wondering if there is a way to copy these games using software methods. The problem with these consoles is that we use disks to play the games, and they can get scratched very soon. It is hard to maintain the game disks for a long time and they are very expensive.

The XBOX 360/PS3/Wii/PS2 make up for a large share of the console gaming market. The games designed for these platforms are simple awesome. The only problem is that these games are distributed on optical media which tend to get scratched a lot and hence are rendered unplayable. Added to this you cant directly copy XBOX 360/PS3/Wii/PS2 games as they all have build in disk protection algorithms built in. So is there a way of making a backup copy of these games without installing mod chips on them?
