A typical day in the life of the former White House director of the Office of Management and Budget is actually anything but typical. While you might wake up at 7 a.m. and immediately hit the snooze button, Orszag is off and running, literally. He takes a 35 minute run at 6 in the morning, almost every morning. Immediately after his run he hits the showers and is off to work but not before his daily stop at Starbucks.
Orszag believes our nation is facing a "nasty" dual deficit problem. He believes a job deficit is going to continue in the near future as well as a budget deficit in the long term. To deal with these issues Orszag proposes a compromise; extend the tax cuts from the Bush administration for another two years and then end them altogether.
It is not uncommon for experts to publish works in their various fields. One example of this is American economist Peter Orszag, who has shared his knowledge and insight on economics by authoring and co-authoring several books on American economic policies over the last ten years. Through the following published works, Peter Orszag has considered the current state of American economic policies and offered suggestions on how to improve them for the sake of America and her citizens.
