Squeeze pages, sometimes referred to as "Lead Capture Pages", are of upmost importance as they are the first step in capturing the interest of a potential customer, with the hope that, one day, that interest will lead to a sale. Squeeze pages are similar to, but do not perform exactly the same task, as sales pages. However, as visitors usually see them first, they are arguably more important than sales pages.
Depending on the design of your website, the 'sales page', sometimes called the 'sales letter' or 'landing page', will either be the first or second most important page on your site. If the squeeze page is placed first, then that is the most important page, because if the prospect does not sign up he or she will never get to see the sales page. However if the sales page comes before the squeeze page, or, if you do not have a squeeze page at all, then the sales page becomes the most important.

Every user of the Internet has used a domain name to access a web-site of their choice. Almost every user of the Internet will have heard the term "domain name". However, not every user of the Intrnet will have "married" the two together and will fully understand that the "www.thisisawebsite.com" that they they type into their browser, or click on, if it's a link will realise that what they are typing or clicking on, is in fact known as a "domain name".
