Every woman has a dream. A dream of success and fulfillment be it at home or in any other field. Like a man, she too has a purpose and an aim in life. However not every woman’s dream turns real. For varied reasons, these dreams dissolve SIGNIFICANCE OF EDUCATIONAL CLUBSA club according to a dictionary, means “a group of people organized for social, literary, scientific pursuit or other purpose”. The group obviously must have similar hobbies and interests for such organization. Hence educational clubs will mean a group of individuals, having similar educational taste and interests i.e. some may be interested in science, some in mathematics, some may have a literary bent of mind so on and so forth. Hence the necessity of different kinds of clubs. HISTORY OF MATHEMATICSMathematics, study of relationships among quantities, magnitudes, and properties and of logical operations by which unknown quantities, magnitudes, and properties may be deduced. In the past mathematics was regarded as the science of quantity, whether of magnitudes, as in geometry, or of numbers, as in arithmetic, or the generalization of these two fields, as in algebra. HOW TO BECOME A TOPPERBeing a topper is every body's urge and desire. It is because it is when the whole world is at your feet. It however requires certain qualities to be inculcated within you. Thereby you get through the examination with flying colors. This is our ultimate objective if a descent career is desired. But this requires some guidelines to be followed. These are... STRESS MANAGEMENTStress is the reaction people have to excessive demands or pressures, such as passing exams. You may find it difficult to cope with tasks, responsibilities or other types of pressures or you might get anxious trying to meet such demands. HOW TO COPE WITH EXAM FEVERThe exam season is a time of high anxiety for every one. The normal rituals of family life interrupted as teenagers are urged to abandon pursuits such as playing football and watching TV for serious book work, and adults find themselves oppressed by anxieties about whether their children are going to succeed in life or fail. Examinations are as much a test of our emotional stamina as of our intellectual agility. ROLE OF REMEDIAL TEACHINGIf we glance at the probability curve in education, we will find that 15% students are weak in studies in a class. Out of these a few are supportive learners. It is for these that we are constantly worried about for good results. Herein I have tried to develop a remedial action plan for them... FEAR OF FAILUREOur education system is examination oriented. This is the main characteristic as well as its draw back. No wonder, our students are haunted by the fear of failure in examinations.
This is applicable both to brilliant as well as poor students. The former fear that a patchy performance will spoil their chances on the career front. The latter fear a social and academic stigma. More suicides are reported at the time of the declaration of annual results. INDUCTIVE AND DEDUCTIVE METHODS OF TEACHINGTeaching methods can either be inductive or deductive or some combination of the two.
The inductive teaching method or process goes from the specific to the general and may be based on specific experiments or experimental learning exercises. Deductive teaching method progresses from general concept to the specific use or application.
These methods are used particularly in reasoning i.e. logic and problem solving.
