Good health is dependent upon good nutrition. Your health is maintained adequately if you include many and essential nutrients in your diet. Nutrients are substances that are used by your body for variety of functions (for your growth, energy level, body repair etc) Many diseases are caused by incorrect eating habits and absence of proper nutrition. A lack of essential nutrients can result in deficiency diseases.
When one is considered overweight? There are some indicators which tell you that you are over weight. Most commonly used indicator is BMI - Body mass index. What is BMI? BMI (Body Mass Index) is a statistical measure aimed to find the "fitness" of a person according to that person's weight and height.

Research at the Institute of Aerobics research ( Treadmill exercises ) have revealed that the least active people had the highest death rates -- mortality for the most sedentary men was more than three times higher than for the fittest men, while the most inactive women had a mortality rate more than five times higher than the fittest woman.
Mediterranean diet is best for your heart. It is the way to eat and drink to your health. It is rich in vegetables, grains (rice, pasta), fish, fruit and dried beans. The Mediterranean diet is a wonderfully healthy diet and an extremely easy one to adapt to our stressful and fast paced lifestyles.
