Electronic Transaction Law of Oman: a ReviewSultanate of Oman has taken a major step forward in its drive to create a digital society with the first Electronic Transaction Law (ETL) issued through Royal Decree 69/2008. The new law is aimed at consolidating public trust in the safe use of such transactions, messages and records while providing adequate protection for privacy of data of individuals.
