Based on the Strategic Intent is the organizations provide products and services for consumers, profits for investors, jobs for employees, taxes for governments, and economic stability for the communities. Strategic intent also identifies the commitment of the oraganisation to contribute to the welfare of society by setting standards on being economically productive and socially responsible.

Strategic management deals with decision making and actions which determine an enterprise's ability to excel survive or die by making the best use of firms' resources in a dynamic environment. The main purpose of study of strategic management is to examine why some organizations succeed while others fail and yet others completely change. Before going to discussing about strategic management, it is necessary to point out on ‘Strategy' in this chapter.

Many public sector enterprises adopted corporate planning because they were to do so by the Bureau of public Enterprises, the governmental body that regulates all public enterprises. Despite the facts that are now quite a few firms which have introduced corporate planning, such firms still constitute a small minority.

The necessity for planning arises because of the fact that business organization has to operate, survive and progress in a highly dynamic environment where change is the rule, not the exception. The change may be sudden and extensive, or it may be slow and almost imperceptible.

The process of observe an organizational internal environment to identify the strengths and weaknesses that may influence the organization's ability to achieve goals. A firm can exploit its opportunities successfully, depending on its corporate strengths. It can be said that the corporate capabilities of the firm become the focal point for its performance and survival.

Industry and competition are the main constituents of the task environment of a business firm. The environmental survey will not be complete without industry analysis and competitor analysis. Analysis of macro environment gives rise to common information whereas Industry Aanalysis provides structural realities, specific and unique information, which are required for strategy formulation.

Business policy focuses on top management functions. Top management is responsible for overall management of the organisation. Overall management means determination of organisational objectives and goals, overall planning and overall control in the organisation.

The major strategies of women Empowerment include social empowerment, economic empowerment and gender justice. The concept of self Help Groups based on group approach to rural development is indeed a boon to the rural poor women who undertake viable economic activities on their own. The present study is undertaken by drawing a sample of 133 Self Help Groups (SHGs) located in six districts of Andhra Pradesh, India.

In order to enhance the Quality of Learning Life the coordination of Bhagavad Gita and Vedantas in our educational institutions for both learning and administration is pivotal part of the present day. To develop the Quality of Learning Life a Quality Circle has been presented to achieve the specified objectives. The quality circle structure includes two major components like academic ladder and non-academic ladder, for effective coordination of certain skills.
