Fable 2 Review: Countless Choices and Options, None of Which are FunFable 2 attempts to differentiate itself with a rich world including countless things to do and choices to make, but the sheer lack of depth from each interaction completely destroys any fun the game could offer. The main quest and its combat system are also devoid of fun as they devolve into simple button mashing regardless of how you dispatch of your enemies. Legendary Review - Unique Creatures and Level Designs Don't Go Far EnoughCreatures with unique weaknesses set the shooter apart from the competition. Attempts at varying level designs and requirements mostly fall flat and aren’t very engaging. The puzzles are also very basic and won’t provide much of a challenge. Guitar Hero: World Tour Review - New Instruments Rock But the Song Creator Fails to ImpressAdding drums, vocals and band gameplay adds a lot to the series, albeit a year later than Rock Band. The option to create your own songs can be fun, but will likely only interest the most hardcore of gamers. A wide variety of online modes, including band competitive modes, will keep you playing for a long time. Resistance 2 Review - Resist the Urge to Play This Repetitive ShooterMonotonous levels that merely throw hundreds of the same generic enemies at you prove that bigger isn’t always better. The co-op’s varied objectives and addictive experience system can be fun but also suffers from a slower pacing of combat against larger swarms of the same generic enemies. The Skirmish multi-player mode allows up to 60 people to face off against each other with varying sets of objectives but there isn’t much variety in the challenges. Left 4 Dead Review: There are Far Better Co-op Games AvailableExtremely shallow gameplay that relies solely on its co-op features that reward sticking together as a group. You’ll fight the same 6 monsters with the same basic weapons over and over in only slightly different settings. There are much better co-op games to play.
