Ralph received his undergraduate degree from Texas A&M University in 1981 and his masters of science degree in physical therapy from Texas Woman's University - Houston in 1985. He is a board certified clinical specialist in orthopaedic physical therapy. His post graduate training has included extensive study in Integrative Manual Therapy, joint and soft tissue mobilization, craniosacral therapy, visceral manipulation, mechanical link, and strain-counterstrain. He has worked as a teaching assistant for soft tissue mobilization and craniosacral therapy courses. Ralph is also a marathon runner with a personal best time of 2:28:15 in 1990. I found a common theme with many of my patients who have headaches and I wanted to write an article and explain one of the common findings I see in patients who come to my clinic complaining of a long standing history of headache pain.
