Knee pain is not just one of the commonest of joint complaints but also one of the most debilitating ones. Most people are not aware that the knees are most vulnerable to injury and pain, our knees being the most complex and the largest of all the joints in the body. We use our knees for a variety of things, for standing up, sitting, walking, running; in fact almost anything at all. Because the knee is such an overused joint, the chances of injury and subsequent knee pain are immense.
Undoubtedly one of mankind's commonest and most nagging complaints, back pain takes up more visits to the hospital in the US and in other parts of the world than any other orthopedic issues. Studies reveal staggering statistics – nine out of ten American adults suffer back pain at some point of their lives or other.
The ankle is not a part of the human anatomy that we humans pay much attention to, unless of course, we are faced with a bout of ankle pain. The ankle is a crucial part of the body, the joint where the foot and leg meet and a delicate structure of muscles, ligaments and tendons. While the ankle joint bears a large amount of weight, it can be highly prone to injury and pain. Ankle pain can be brought on by a variety of factors and generally involves discomfort in one or both ankles.
