At this point hopefully you are at level 19. If you are, then head back to Veteron to grab this quest: Veteron Reinforcements - Meet Lavirintos in Sanctum -> Xenophon -> back to Veteron to report to Spatalos.
There are a total of 8 stigma slots, 5 regular and 3 advanced, but you do not have all 8 stigma available to you at level 20. At level 20 you will be able to equip 2 stigma, and after that you gain or unlock a stigma slots every 10 levels.
This is a trap that blinds the mob or player who activates it and lengthens the time it takes for them to cast spells. Along with this, it causes a poison-like effect, slowly deteriorating their health while in effect.
Besides Physical Crit, Accuracy is useful to make sure that your weapon is hitting (especially important as you are swinging a slower weapon), as is Attack (which boosts the damage you do.)
In both Elyos and Asmodian main cities there is a Coliseum. Going here you will find a large open area, much like the ones the Romans used to fight in. Speak to the NPC out front in order to enter.
Aion has various professions you can take with your character to help with different tasks such as creating potions, weapons, or armor. Choosing which profession to take is somewhat important because it can be the difference between being forced to rely on other players and being able to take care of yourself gear-wise.
In Aion there are a total of four different ways to sell items you do not want (or just want to sell). They are via trading with another player, selling to NPC's, using a personal shop, or using an Auction House. So far the trading and Auction House are the most common ways of dealing with business.
Asmodians are seen as the "dark" side(although not in terms of being evil or anything like that). Most people claim they are much better looking because they are very different. These are easily noticed by their feet (they seem like paws from animals) and the fact they are much more hairy than Elyos.
The mage classes in Aion represent classes that are primarily based on doing damage to enemies using various magic skills. These classes are more powerful than the melee damage dealers (usually) but in return they also take much more damage from enemies. These classes are sometimes referred to as "clothies" or "squishies" being that they have lower defense than any other classes in the game. At the same time their damage dealing abilities make them well worth having in groups.
The Templar is the only full-on tank class in Aion. This class will be chosen if you wish for your main goal in the game to become a "meat shield." Tanks are the first to attack other players in PvP or other mobs during PvE. A tank's job is to keep all enemies focused on them, rather than the lower defense allies.
