![]() Rita Cartwright has been the owner and sole proprietor of RJ's Word Processing Services since 2002. She has over 30 years of word processing and administrative support experience. Rita gained the majority of her experience from financial and higher education industries.
Her word processing experience has provided her with valuable insight into various business-style documents, business-style correspondences, as well as word processing software, editing/proofreading, database management, PowerPoint Presentations, and Desktop Publishing. In addition, Rita's experience as a small business owner has taught her what type of support a business professional needs to be able to grow his or her small business. After several years in the administrative and word processing field, Rita went back to school and received a Bachelor of Science degree in Marketing and a minor in Spanish, with honors, from Arizona State University in May 1998. She also completed online Website Development courses through MiraCosta College. In October 2002, Rita decided to combine her administrative skills with her business education to create her own company offering virtual assistant services. Today her company is still growing with new clients, as well as repeat customers. In order to provide her clients with quality service, Rita attends SBA Business Development workshops, network with fellow Virtual Assistants, and is a member of Virtual Assistant Networking Association(VANA).
