In the fat loss world, the hCG diet is like a zombie that keeps coming back from the dead, no matter how many times you shoot it in the head. It was designed in the 1950s and has since been disproven time and time again by well-executed, peer-reviewed research. Not only is the plan fundamentally unsound, but the popular "hCG" supplements sold over the counter today are just low-dose copies of the original product. Truly a train-wreck of a diet plan.
