Ron Thompson My main experience in life has been in the jewellry industry. I have at least 30 years of experience in this gift industry. I was a certified jeweller, goldsmith, and a registered diamond broker for most of those years. I have owned and operated a number of jewellery and gift stores and for many years I worked as a diamond broker selling estate diamonds for clients all over the world. I also owned and operated a manufacturing operation for a number of years making pewter gifts for the retail trade. I guess you could say that I have worked in the gift trade all my life as did my own father. During my lifetime I have developed several interests. I have recently trained to do hypnosis that is very helpful for people with various problems from phobias to quitting smoking. I love football, seafood, and BBQ\'s and as a father I have also managed to have raised 5 kids over my years too. In the past I have written on-going articles for a number of newspapers about gem stones and their history and power. The articles that I write now are on gift giving, it is my hope that they are at least enjoyable and informative. I love the holidays and gift giving and my partner and I now have an online gift business Ernest and Lee Gifts and we are working full time at it.
