    Dermal Fillers in London UK

Dermal Fillers have had a rapid evolution over the last 20 or thirty years. Fat transfer from one part of the body to another remains a popular but very operator dependent technique in terms of survival of the transplanted fat. This opened the door to manufactured compounds particularly hyaluronic acid products such as Restylane, Perlane and Restylane Sub Q. The total numbers of Restylane used world wide now exceeds 10 million, absolutely reinforcing its safety pedigree. Read: Dermal Fillers in London UK Read

GBL/GHB deaths rise dramatically in the UK year on year

GBL related deaths and injury in the UK continue to rise exponentially. GBL (short for gamma butyrolactone) is currently a legal drug in the UK although illegal in the USA and Canada. GBL is a "precursor drug" and is swiftly metabolised in the human body into it's active form, GHB (short for gamma hydroxybutyrate). Nowadays, despite the wealth of information on diet available to us in the media, it’s getting harder to separate the myths from the food facts, and decide what to eat to stay happy and healthy. Clearly moderation in all things is the key to healthy eating, and many other old wives tales do appear to ring true. Below are a few pointers on what not to eat, and how not to eat it. New or Primary HIV Infection also known as ARS (Acute Retroviral Syndrome)

There is very good evidence emerging through the Western World that there are many missed opportunities to diagnose HIV before it is ultimately diagnosed. Classic symptoms which should generate enquiry about new HIV infection include what Dr Martin Fisher from Brighton UK calls the classic "triad". After a risky sexual event it is possible to protect yourself further from HIV by using a combination of medications which are together called Post Exposure Prophylaxis after Sexual Exposure or PEPSE. These medications have been shown in studies in primates and also in some human studies to markedly reduce the rate of HIV transmission by interfering with the ability of HIV to colonise and then reproduce in human cells.
