Shafiqur Rahman khan Yusufzai is Delhi Based Social Activist working on issues of Human Rights and Prevention of Human Trafficking in India. He was actively involved in the radical communist movement under the banner of CPI (ML) Liberation and headed Regional movement for nearly four years. Later on his intellect diverted him towards social movement and he founded CDC and opened and managed 27 non-formal education centers in Naxalite effected areas in Central Bihar. These centers were given to the local people for management and he, being free soul diverted his attention towards the pitiable condition of trafficked women. His organisation EMPOWER PEOPLE started with a 300 kilometer March Against Female Foeticide in Haryana in 2006. Currently EMPOWER PEOPLE under the leadership of Shafique is working on issues related to Gender relations and child issues. He is frequently published in leading Hindi, Urdu and English Journals and Dailies. He has also published four books on social issues.

The situation seems like marriage . The girls from poor background are duped and brought to the area of demand . First the middle man gives different type of greed to the parents of girls and arranged marriage with the boy and later transferred to the other place like Haryana , Punjab Rajasthan etc
The history of film making in Mewat is not very old. In 2000 with Usman a local youth of Tawaru block moved bythe issue of trafficking of women amongst the Meo tribe decided to makea film on the social evil. The "Meo" is a prominent tribe in theregion. The film Mohaabat-e-Mewat (Love of Mewat)" was a pioneeringeffort but it also invited flak from the local community who reactedstrongly to the negative portrayal of the region.
