One of the most important responsibilities of a nursing assistant is to monitor a patient’s vital signs and record significant changes. Keeping an eye on a patient’s blood pressure, pulse, temperature, and respiration are important to realizing whether a patient is getting better or worse. Nursing assistants are also responsible for maintaining a patient’s personal hygiene while they are in the hospital, and/or medical facility.

In order to become a nurse you must pass a nursing exam, which is typically administered by your state’s Board of Nursing. There are three types of nursing programs for you to choose from; you can decide to get a hospital diploma, an Associate’s degree in nursing, or a Bachelor’s degree in nursing.

Nursing is a profession that demands trust. The first and most important provision of ethics in the field of nursing is to practice with the compassion and understanding that all individuals should treated with dignity and respect regardless of their health problems, social status, race, religion, disability, financial status, or creed.

Today it is clear that the old fashioned image of a nurse no longer holds true. . We will now look at a few nursing positions that have attracted people from all backgrounds into the field of nursing. . Though nurse case managers can work for various types of organizations, such as insurance companies, third party administrators, and vocational rehabilitation companies, their ultimate goal is the same.
