Suzanne Male - Articles

 

Suzanne Male is the publisher at Smink Works Books. She is also an editor, writer and journalist.

Before establishing independent press Smink Works Books, Suzanne spent fifteen years working as a journalist at newspapers and magazines. The bulk of those years were spent as reporter, writer, foreign correspondent (London), and freelance writer for Time Inc’s Who Weekly magazine.

She has also contributed reporting and articles to publications including America’s In Style and People magazines, and Australian Bookseller & Publisher, and served as editor of national magazine Australian Jeweller.

Suzanne has turned her editor’s eye to everything from articles to novels and film scripts, and has been a publicist for various musicians. She is author of several books, including a series of children’s books and the book A Year of Writing Inspiration: A prompt a day for the creative writer, and is co-author of The Writer's Therapist: Essential Advice for the Author

She founded Smink Works Books in 2002 as an international publisher producing both e-books and printed books, taking on writers from all over the world, and making its base the Internet.
