Val is the the public relations officer for Yogi-Nomad.org, she is a yoga instructor and qualified Thai massage teacher and is one of our resident yoga instructors on our TTC, Yoga teacher training courses Kathmandu, Nepal.
33 years old, Val was born of Colombian parents, in the French Guyana Creole melting pot, a stretch of Amazonian forest between Brazil and Surinam. After her international studies in France in tourism, languages and communication, Val pursued an initial professional career starting from Disney in Florida to the Health Division of the UN Body, the World Health Organization in Geneva. She continuously added experiences to her multicultural roots. It is this continuous blending that naturally brought her to Yoga, building a union linking everyone’s differences.
A Yoga Alliance Certified teacher, Val dedicates herself to holistic health, yogic practices and has been teaching since 2007. She is a Massage Therapist, Teacher of Thai Massage and studies Hygienic nutrition. Currently she mostly lives in Nepal, India and Thailand.
