File Hoster by Joe White Most famous and visited file hoster are RapidShare and MegaUpload. On Alexa RapidShare is ranked (at the moment) 116, which is getting better (today's rank of RapidShare 61). MegaUpload got a rank of 246 and today's rank of MegaUpload is 95, which also means improvment of the file hosters. The explanation how they got that famous is, most people like to share their private files, example their pictures (the most famous picture hoster is ImagesHack) or their video etc. All those file hosters are against illegal-files. To support them staying alive, you should report illegal-files by mailling to their Abuse-Management (abuse@rapidshare.de). Sometimes their server is overloaded, because too much people are downloading. In this case, I am taking small file hosters (example: http://www.uploadfile.org), because their servers aren't that overloaded. http://yourarticle.org
