It is characterized by airflow limitation that is not fully reversible. Chronic Obstructive Disease is a leading cause of the death in the worldwide. Rehabilitation for patients with chronic lung diseases is well established and widely accepted as means of enhancing standard therapy in order to improve symptoms. A Comparison of the Thermal and Pressure Pain Thresholds of Arab and Western European Healthy Male SubjectsPain is a universal, personal and subjective experience. Many factors are involved in the interpretation of this unpleasant sensation, including past experience, ethnicity and culture. Understanding these factors plays an important role in a comprehensive and multidimensional approach to the assessment and management of acute and chronic pain. The aim of this study is to determine experimental pain perception differences between Arab and western European healthy male subjects.
