Everyone wants to look younger . One of the reasons is that if you look younger, you have a much greater chance of living a long time. So, if you enjoy life why not? One of the key things is how to keep face skin healthy.
The oracle has spoken or is about to speak! I am referring to the FDA when it is going to pronounce on one of the most popular facial products for women. This is the chemical peel which is so popular nowadays and the use of the alpha hydroxyl acids (AHA) has become commonplace. But there are risks, apparently, and that is why the FDA verdict is awaited with such interest.
Did you know that a natural moisturizer for face can be made by using certain homemade ingredients such as cocoa butter and jojoba oil. That was why I was surprised when I read their warning about glycolic acid peeling which uses the alpha hydroxy acids or AHAs.
I do not wish to be alarmist but I was shocked when I read the comments from the Chairman of the Cancer Prevention Coalition . He did not mince his words when he warned that a glycolic face peel which contains the alpha hydroxy acids was probably one of the most dangerous cosmetic products on the market!
Talking of fortunes, the skincare industry worldwide is generating about $24 billion a year! Not bad in this recession and it is providing a lot of employment too.
