Developing Your Inner Adult: Part 1--moving Beyond BlamingI define an adult as someone who takes 100 % responsibility for his or her life and situation. Every blaming thought you hold is an obstacle---an obstacle to your success. Blaming is just a story that we tell ourselves, and in the story we distort reality in order to justify ourselves--in order make ourselves feel right or better than the other person. How do we move beyond blaming? Building Attraction Traction: Three Tips for Working Universal LawWe read about the Law of Attraction and it seems so simple. Change your thoughts and you change your life. What could be simpler? Most of us discover that it may be simple, but it isn't easy. We find it difficult because it is about more than just changing our thoughts. The Law of Attraction manifests who we think we are in our physical reality. Once we get a handle on our self-created identity we can build traction toward manifesting the life we truly desire. Are You Better Off Now Than You Were 6 Months Ago?Do you ask yourself this question: Am I better off now than I was then? By what criteria would you measure your response. Once we create a label we look for evidence to continually prove that the label is correct. Each human being is a bundle of potentiality. We will only find this potential when we move beyond labels and learn to be present with people. Single Minded Intentions Lead to SuccessSuccess for organizations takes single mindedness. Determine what you want and then take unwavering action toward it. The Audacity of ExpectationHope tells you that things can get better. Yet, when we hope that things will turn out for our best interests we make ourselves dependent on some future that has not yet arrived. Audacity is boldness. Expectation, in this sense, is to know without knowing how you know. It is that clear inner sense that all is well regardless of how things currently look or feel. To move forward with confidence into the unknown is the audacity of expectation. Choose Peace: a Practical ApplicationYou can choose peace at any moment. This choice will provide you with more options and greater power. The Power of KindnessShould people be kind to each other? It depends on what you mean by "kind". Most of us confuse being kind with being nice. Many people are nice, but they aren't kind. "Nice" is when you are polite to someone in person, but you may criticize them behind their back. "Kind" is when you treat people with respect and compassion regardless of who they are and what they do. Kindness includes empathy and care. Kindness is not something you give to people who deserve it. Kindness is a mindset that you The Real Secret: Spiritual IntelligenceSpiritual Intelligence is our ability to choose between spirit and ego. We consciously practice spiritual intelligence when we intentionally choose spirit over ego, love over fear, and the highest good for all over selfish interest.
