Introduction of the Mpeg Format
The full name of MPEG is “Moving Picture Expert Group”, which is used to create VCD, SVCD, DVD discs. MPEG format is a international compression standard for moving images. To reduce redundancy data, it adopted Lossy Compression algorithms, which removes the redundancy between subsequent images and previous images while preserves most similar parts.
