Achievements In Wow - Whats The Point?I'm going to go on record here to state that I really like the Achievements System in the World of Warcraft. I know they basically don't do anything for you. I get it that they are an attempt to wring more playing time per character out of existing content. However! These things are fun... Wow Druid Spells - BarkskinUpon reaching level 44 Druida are awarded the spell Barkskin and very often this spell gets ignored. Its not very flashy or sexy, many WoW Druids really are not aware of what it does and its quickly forgotten. The thing is this spell can be one of the best defensive spells you have when you know what it is and what it can do for you! Should You Get Wrath Of The Lich King?Like many World of Warcraft players I wrestled with the idea of diving into another expansion. I figured I'd made it to level 70, done some damage in the Battlegrounds and Arena, been around for a lot of the well known happenings like Leroy Jenkins and "More DOTS!", and heard more Chuck Norris and Murloc jokes than one man ever should be subjected to. Maybe it was time to hang up the Druid and do something else? Try a different game? The Nexus And DruidsMy first successful run into The Nexus on Coldarra, in the Wrath of the Lich King expansion, was a good time! We had a full group with two players who had run the Nexus many times before and three first timers. The line up included a level 80 Death Knight as Main Tank and a level 75 Resto Shammy on heals. With myself as a level 71 Boomkin, a level 71 Survival Hunter and a level 71 Frost Mage all on DPS... Wow Druid Spells - Microwave MoveThere are times in WoW as a Druid that you'll find yourself in big trouble. This happens in PvE when you either get in over your head, are not paying attention or a combination of both. It happens in PvP whenever - Player vs. Player is a bit more chaotic. What I'd like to share with you today is the "Microwave" move. I didn't come up with the name, but I wish I had, some random player running past me one day while doing this whispered "lol looks like tin foil in a microwave". Easily Use Skype With World Of WarcraftOnce you get a chance to actually speak with someone you're running around WoW with the whole game seems to change. I'm not a huge Raid or Guild guy, (although I hope to be someday when I grow up), but I do have some friends that I run around with. At one point someone suggested we get Ventrilo (aka Vent) so we could easily chat while questing or banging around in the BG's. At higher levels a Druid of this persuasion is a powerful force and a heck of a lot of fun to play Introduction To The Wow DruidWhen starting a Druid in the World of Warcraft your first 9 levels are pretty much spent running around killing low level monsters and getting the hang of your basic spells. Over those nine levels youll obtain and learn to use some basic offensive, defensive and enhancement (buff) spells. Once your fledgling Druid reaches level 10, however, the real fun begins. At level 10 you gain your first Talent Point and you begin to shape your Druid. Tauren Druid - Leveling First StepsStarting a Tauren Druid can be frustrating and boring. Why? The running over distances! The starting area for Horde Druids, Camp Narache, is really quite nice actually. With a Native American style theme you begin your life on an open sweeping plain. You've got a stick, one or two horns, a mighty stomp thing and a couple of spells...you're ready to take on the world! Wow Druid Leveling TipsNo matter if your starting out a new Night Elf or Tauren Druid the first steps of leveling can be a bit on the boring side. Your new character is weak like a kitten, hits like a little girl and has some really crappy gear. You want to get leveled up as fast as possible so you can have some sort of self respect! These are some very simple general tips to remember that should help you level your World of Warcraft Druid up into the 20's pretty quickly and painlessly.
