2009 Nissan Maxima Review

The newly redesigned Nissan Maxima oozes liquid motion with its flowing lines and softly sculpted body structure.  The visual is dramatic as the car appears much larger than its predecessor, but the reality is that the latest model is actually just slightly shorter, but can boast about its extra width and tighter turning radius.

The new 2009 Nissan Maxima is a departure from the previous models and is a much more sporty front wheel drive, four door mid-size sedan.  This stylish luxury sport sedan, base model, starts as low as $30,855.00.

Some of the features found on the Nissan Maxima, 3.5 litre - 290 @ 6400 HP / 261 @ 4400 torque engine, base model, include front engine front wheel drive, vented front disc brakes, rear disc brakes, anti-lock braking system (ABS), electronic brake distribution (EBD), automatic on/off headlights, fog lights, dual exhaust with single chrome tip finishers, UV reducing solar glass, front and rear splash guards, 18” steel wheels with bolt on wheel covers, all season tires, tire pressure monitoring system, Nissan intelligent key with push button ignition, air conditioning with in-cabin micro filter, rear passenger floor vents, power windows, power door locks with auto locking feature, remote keyless entry with trunk release, cruise control with steering wheel mounted controls, fine vision gauges, Bluetooth hand free phone system, front map light and rear reading light, mood lighting, dual sun visors with extenders, trip computer with multiple displays, tilt and telescope steering column, speed sensitive variable intermittent flat-blade wipers, 12 volt DC power outlets (2) and retained accessory power, seating for five, 6 way manual adjustable driver’s seat, cloth seats, metallic-tone trim, 60/40 split fold down rear seatbacks (sedan with lock), rear fold down centre armrest, am/fm/cd audio system with 6 speakers, auxiliary audio input jack, Nissan advanced airbag system (AABS) with dual stage supplemental front airbags with seat belt sensors, driver and front passenger seat mounted side impact bags, roof mounted curtain airbag, front seat belts with pre-tensioners and load limiters, active front-seat head restraints, immobilizer key system, anti-theft system, and many other exciting luxury features.
