Audi: Continuing Its Dominance Through the New A6

The sedan, for years as long as we can remember, has been the majority of automotive vehicles in our roads. For the past decades, much has been improved on every models released to the market by automotive companies. The majority of these vehicles bring to the table innovative features, design and technological advances. Manufacturers continually outdo themselves and their competitors by coming up with sleeker, faster and better performing models and units every year. Every model they have, as perfect as each one seems, will still be improved and in the process would be gaining more and more features to entice potential customers.

Audi is one of the more famous automotive companies which has been giving us what can be said as the best cars in their class for decades. Now, it is continuing that trend and they have released to the public the newest addition to their products, the Audi A6. This new A6 is a step forward from its predecessors.

For instance, the exterior styling of the car has been modified from the previous model, giving it a sleeker and more aggressive look. The difference between the old and the new does not stop there though. Under that is a new structure, much better in noise and vibration reduction. The new model also has improved the handling of the car and increased the comfort for passengers and drivers as well.

Engines have also been altered from the previous models; users can chose from a 3.2 liter V6 or a 4.2 liter V8 engine. The V8 engine packs 335 horsepower and 310 lb.ft. of torque giving the user much power at his command, with the support of reliable Audi parts. The V6 is just like the V8 in a way, packing three fourths of the V8 engine’s power. Both engines are assisted by the new Audi system dubbed as the FSI (Fuel “Straight Injection”). This actually means that it delivers fuel to the combustion chamber much like in a diesel engine. This new feature allows better engine performance, more power and reduced emissions. This system also reduces fuel consumption translating to savings.

As users continually hunt for the best sedan or any car for that matter, advances such as these can be predicted. More and more cars will mushroom in the market promising us new and exciting features. Expect to see a much better model of this car in the near future. Because as long as people needs their cars, companies such as Audi would never rest on their laurels; and that can mean only god news for us buyers.
