This is calculated as the diameter of the wheel without the measurement for the rim flange. The increase in width of the wheel will increase its overall size. Therefore, it is necessary to maintain the correct wheel width to prevent any mishaps.
The load factor that the wheel of a truck can sustain decides the usefulness of the truck. For heavy-duty truck, this load factor is extremely significant. The alloy wheels are usually strong enough and have a good load factor. The load factor or the load capacity for the wheels of the truck is usually stamped on the back of the wheels. This load capacity is also dependent on the axle type, number of lugs or bores, and the type of material used to create the wheel.
