When I was a kid I grew up believing that if you had a Mercedes Benz you had moved up in the world. And if one part takes some time to get a hold of how much more time would a whole Mercedes engine? He patiently explained that it would in the long run that the cost would be less because it is more costly to replace the engine piece by piece. So if parts kept breaking down one after the other, the cost of those parts plus recurring costs for labor would total more than having the whole engine replaced and just one labor fee.
