ETI Bucket Trucks Overview

Posted: Nov 05, 2010 |Comments: 0 |

ETI is considered the fastest growing manufacturer of bucket trucks and bucket truck equipment. They are headquartered and do business out of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. An Australian based company call Palfinger has recently acquired a 80% ownership of ETI in expectations of ETI achieving a larger market share in the future. Chairmen believe that the new ownership should expand operations and influence into European and Australian markets. Certainly the South Pacific will be influenced by ETI as well.

When it comes to manufacturing savings, ETI has developed the process of producing aerial devices and utility truck bodies within the same business. This cuts out a lot of costs in delivery and middlemen. Another benefit to their integrated approach is it provides a one-stop shop for finding replacement parts and accessories.

ETI does several things well. One of those things is making their replacement parts and accessories easily available. They set up a website for customers to look for specific parts and order them easily. ETI also has retail stores to sell parts for them. Among them, the biggest retailer is Plastics Composite Company based in Ft. Wayne Indiana. The easy to find parts benefits owners of fleets in multiple ways but most importantly, it results in fleet owners getting their equipment back to jobsites and making them money.

If you are considering purchasing a single ETI bucket truck or a fleet of trucks, you should find the nearest ETI approved/ certified mechanic by searching online or simply calling them. ETI's website however, does not disclose mechanics that are recommended by ETI. The key to keeping a fleet of ETI bucket trucks in service is to have a trusted and outstanding mechanic.
