Fascia Fitting Kit For Chrysler Sebring
The Chrysler Sebring (2001-2006) is a very famous car sold by the Chrysler LLC. This is a mid-sized car. Entirely three different vehicles exist with the same name. They are: Chrysler Sebring (coupe) (1995-2005), Chrysler Sebring (convertible) (1996- present), Chrysler Sebring (sedan) (2001-present). The manufacturing of this car was undertaken by Daimler Chrysler from 2001 to 2007. Later it was taken by Chrysler LLC. The predecessor of the Chrysler Sebring is Chrysler Cirrus and Plymouth Breeze. The successor is Chrysler 200C EV which will be probably sold in the name 'Sebring' it belongs to the mid size class with a four door body style and an FF layout. The Chrysler Sebring was first introduced with the name Coupe in the year 1995.
Later a convertible went for sales in the year 1996. Chrysler Le Baron was replaced by these two models. Twelve hours of Sebring the famous car race was sited at Sebring, Florida was the reason behind the naming of the car. In the 1970's this name was first used by the Plymouth division of the Chrysler Corporation. After the demise of marquee Chryslers was the rebranded name of most of the Plymouths. The car based on Mitsubishi Eclipse was the Coupe. The Chrysler JR successors were the convertible and sedan. The Chrysler logo on the rear and a brand new front fascia gave a facelift to this car in the year 2004. In the tear 2005 the coupe was discontinued from use. In the Mexican region the sedan was popularly known as Chrysler Cirrus. It is known as Volga Siber in Russia.
There are two engine configurations available one is the 2.4 L EDZ14 and the other one is 2.7L EERV6. It has a transmission of 4- speed 41 TE automatic. The wheelbase is 108 inches. The car length is 190.7 inches with a width of 70.6 inches. This width was 71.5 inches from the year 2001- 2004. But later was bought down to 70.6 inches. The fuel capacity of this car is approximately 15.9 US Gallons. Due to oil sludge contamination few 2.7L EER V6 have suffered failures. When the passage of fuel oil is blocked by the clogging of sludge, it results in the catastrophic failure and ultimately the engine failure. Irregular oil changes are also the reasons for such failures.
Unknown number of people has been affected by this kind of failure. Solution to this is frequent inspection or even engine replacement. Various trim levels were offered by this model. Few of them were: LX - 2001-2004, LXi- 2001-2003, base, touring, limited, signature series and TSi. These cars use normal unleaded gasoline as fuel. The radio dash kit for this car consists of an aerial adapter, Sebring Fascia plate and harness adapter. Maintaining high quality is of great importance when it comes to installation and usage. This should maintain the original color, texture and final finish of the car as it was earlier. Hence it should be designed specifically. All these features of this car make it unique and efficient from the others.
