Goodwill SOLAC: Helping People in Southern California

Goodwill SOLAC (Southern Los Angeles County) serves over 20 cities and neighborhoods in the area. It was formed in response to the Great Depression, in 1929, and has been helping people ever since.

Just like other Goodwill foundations across the country, Goodwill SOLAC is funded mostly by donations made by the general public and requires support and contributions from the community in order to continue its mission. Whether you donate clothes, household items or even a car, your donation will go a long way in letting Goodwill Industries continue their work with the community, promoting equality and providing job training, work placements, plus support and advice to those who need it most.

This is a big commitment but one they are committed to accomplishing. However, they now need public contribution more than ever. With the current economic conditions, more people than ever need help with the basics in life, including education for a career. Goodwill Industries helps with this, but they need your help to continue.

No matter what you donate, your contribution will go straight to helping people in your community. If you do decide to donate a vehicle, you will be eligible for a tax break based on the value of that vehicle. Charity Dispatch can help you to process your donation and ensure that everything is in order, making the whole process much simpler for you.

Goodwill SOLAC has been helping people for 80 years now, but without donations of all sizes, the whole system begins to breakdown. By donating whatever you can to Goodwill (things you might give a friend - not junk), you can make sure you're doing your part to help the system continue helping people help themselves. If you think that just one more or less donation won't make a difference either way, think again. Goodwill Industries of Southern California need all the support they can get so that no one individual will miss out on the help and support they need.

You get vehicles and sell them for a nearly 100% profit, but there are people such as me who need a motor vehicle in order to hope to get a job and get to and from work in a timely manner who can't afford to pay Goodwill cash for one of those cars and who can't get an auto loan because we have no job. You get an "F" for FAKE "CHARITY".
