It seems as though the Ford Company is taking on a whole new look and pulling themselves out of the muddy pit that they got themselves into financially a couple of years ago. Since the Ford government bailout, we have seen some incredible new additions to the Ford vehicle line. The redesign of the Mustang BOSS 302R has definitely turned heads on the roads as well as the raceways.
The BOSS was originally introduced to the public in Daytona Beach, FL with Ford announcing that this model was a brand new racing model as well as a model that we will be able to drive on the roads. Popular racecar driver, Parnelli Jones helped to design the original BOSS when it was released over 40 years ago. Jones has also had a hand in revamping the brand new 2011 model for the racetrack.

This is racecar is eligible to race is the Koni Challenge which is now referred to as the Grand-Am Continental Tire Sports Car and Challenge series. This is where the BOSS can really shine and outrace Corvettes, Porches and the Astin Martin V8's, all those who have held the top speed spots for years.
