Something on the '07 Gmc Canyon 4x4 Crew Cab Sle

The 2007 GMC Canyon 4x4 Crew Cab SLE resembles like the newly designed full-size GMC Sierra. At a glance, a car enthusiast might be mistaken of the truck’s physical appearance as that of the full-size MC Sierra. But GMC officials say the vehicle has different truck accessories as compared to the mistaken vehicle.

The Canyon's grille, headlights and overall body lines are similar, but on a smaller scale. Once the vehicle is climbed up, you will immediately know it is a compact truck. However, it is not difficult to get settled-in, because this SLE Crew Cab is equipped with plenty of accessories to make the trip comfortable.

Inside the 2007 Canyon Crew Cab Truck, plenty of interior options can be seen. These include power windows, door locks, seat controls and mirrors. Also inside are an XM Satellite radio, a self-dimming rearview mirror, dual map lights, heated leather bucket seats in the front, cruise, tilt steering, and a rear sliding window.
In the front seat of the Canyon is a spacious leg and headroom, but space is narrower in the rear. The bulk of the truck's controls are located in the center dash, so they are within easy reach.

Engine noise is usual to trucks. While driving the GMC Canyon some engine noise are heard more so than typically noticed in larger trucks or the SUV-like ride of the Chevy Avalanche. Nonetheless, the engine performs well and the smooth transmission shifts exist. The Canyon ride is expected to get rougher on secondary roads; and this is typical on any compact truck with stiff suspension.

The rear headrests of Canyon are large and they somewhat obstruct the view out of the truck's rear window. So it is advised to fold down the back seats or remove the headrests when there are no rear passengers.

As to the Canyon engine and transmission, the truck is available in many configurations and is equipped with new engines for 2007. Crew Cab trucks come standard with a 3.7-liter, 5-cylinder engine and a 4-speed automatic transmission. This is a combination that is optional on the other body styles.

Regular Cab and Extended Cab Canyon trucks come standard with a 2.9-liter, 4-cylinder engine and a 5-speed manual transmission.

One thousand three hundred forty three pounds is the maximum payload for this 2007 GMC Canyon 4x4 Crew Cab SLE Canyon truck.

The 4WD Canyon Crew Cab is rated at 22 mpg on the highway and 16 mpg in the city. The 2WD 4-cylinder truck is projected to get better gas mileage, rated at 26 mpg and 20 mpg. Estimates for other models of the Canyon come in between those two sets of rate. Because of the way estimates are calculated, actual gas mileage will most certainly be lower.

As regards pricing, the Canyon Crew Cab 4x4 has a sticker price of $28,459, which includes about $4,000 in options. Canyon base prices start at around $14,000 for a truck with no accessories yet, only the body.
