Step Up and Drive Westin Tough

Vehicles not only require pleasing auto parts and accessories, they have to be tough and safe as well. To boost protection, Westin introduced enhanced nerf bars.

Westin, which has been in the truck industry for a long time now, is one of the leaders in steel auto parts manufacturing. It is known for its rugged and sleek nerf bars and bull bars. A nerf bar, another term for step bar, is located on the side of a vehicle. According to Westin, its nerf bars are better than the rest because it comes down to quality control and made in the United States on computer-controlled equipment. This equipment guarantees that every seam and weld on Westin nerf bar is in the precise location.

Westin uses its established know-how to design new products and innovations. That expertise allows the manufacturer to know trouble points. Westin pools of designers and engineers tackle the current problems in the auto parts industry so as to remedy them.

The three basic criteria used by Westin are fit, looks and durability. These criteria perfect the appearance and performance of the nerf bars. The no-ordinary bars can handle the biggest and heaviest step because it is formulated with accuracy. Westin claims that before these bars are introduced, they have to pass the engineering testing. These bars undergone salt spray testing to guarantee excellent rust protection. Hence, even if the vehicle is used on snowy, twisting or sweltering roads, it is still protected.

The enhanced nerf bar which is currently released is made thicker and tougher. Westin nerf bar measures 3" diameter and have a slip resistant recessed step area for extra strength. It is available in Platinum Series, which are made from 304 stainless steel tubing with chrome-plated (CPS) or black powdercoat (BPS) finish.

It uses chrome or powder coating to keep the bar sealed up and tight to boost durability. The nerf bar also comes with a complete hardware kit to respond to quick needs of said auto part. Additionally, Westin nerf bar is accompanied with a well-written instruction for quick and easy no-drill application. Basically, Westin products are manufactured with a simple philosophy make them right and make them last.
