Talking About Auto Shows

Auto shows are becoming popular in today's times. They are so popular that you could easily visit the auto show destination point, if you have the money and the inclination to do so. It is not enough to just have some good looking models or motor combustion models to be present in the auto show. The real value of the auto show is the outcome ability of bringing business through the auto show. In other words, the success of an auto show lies not in the presentation of the auto show, but it will depend upon the business that it attracts through auto shows.

A lot of auto shows take place, all over the world. We have the Frankfurt auto show that focuses on German Engineering. It is considered as the biggest show in Europe. You will find most of the European car makers present at that Auto show. This auto show has attracted the Chinese car makers. The Chinese brands are trying to enter the Europe and US market. Hence, they are targeting Frankfurt and Detroit auto shows.

The International Geneva Motor Show is an annual auto show that takes place in the Swiss city of Geneva. This year, the Geneva -Motor show took place from 4-16 March 2008). The Geneva motor show is a niche event and in this show, niche players get an opportunity to have a good display.

If you consider Paris, it is all about design. The auto show in Paris is dominated by French car makers like Renault, Peugeot, Citroen and others. You get to see some of the quirkiest design happenings in the world. Also, there are big launches too.

The Detroit auto show has all American brands with big ticket launches. Also, Auto shows happen in LA and New York too. Auto makers of the above three mentioned auto shows, enjoy the limelight while they are displaying their most interesting debutantes and their exhibits.

The Shanghai motor show has its own importance because of the growth and importance of the Chinese market. This is one of the main reasons why the Auto Expo has grown in recent years. Expo has become an important event, since India has come up with its remarkable growth story about its component and small car expertise.

The Tokyo show which is also known as tech show, gives you an opportunity to be familiar with Japanese technology. The local car makers come up with their own surprise launches and one must be aware of the fact that Tokyo is not known for its big bang launches.

The Auto Exp. 2008 which was held on January 10 is heading towards being one of the largest automotive expositions in Asia. Big names got an opportunity to display their cars. This includes international auto majors like Volkswagen, General MOTORS, Toyota, Ford, BMW, Fiat, Honda, Audi, Porsche, Suzuki. Also, Indian biggies, like Tata Motors, Mahindra & Mahindra and Ashok Leyland among others, displayed impressive range of concept cars and new car products. This is the benefit of having the 9th Auto Expo.
